Yeah, Renell Medrano is a director I need to be on the lookout for. NUEVAYoL is my favorite song on DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS and this music video does a great job capturing its energy. The quinceañera at the start is such a good setting both for the song and just as visual in general, honing in on the danceability that makes the song so great to begin with. As I dive deeper into music videos, something I want to take a note off is the director of the ones I watch, especially the ones that I quite like. Drake released a lot of music videos and I have no desire to watch them all, so because Janice STFU is the biggest song on the album so far and will likely go #1 on the Hot 100 I checked out this one.

There's no denying that this is a well made music video. But sometimes, a well made music video isn't for me. Like this one! It's a shame to be saying this after how much I praised the music video for the Stateside remix, but I've watched this many times over the past two weeks and it just has not clicked for me.
