AOTY
The punk rock influences make it feel different and suit perfectly his voice, the topics of the records make the project even better and different from the rest of the game.
Expecting something more, its just too repetitive and it get boring after like 7 tracks, the beats are nothing really memorable, just the typical LUCKI sound, the tracks are not bad, but without a soul.
I also would have liked of he talked about something more than just flexing his bitches and doing drugs, i was expecting him to talk about his drugs wise problems.
Have some good Song but nothing reallyind blowing too.
Seeing some ug artist making some different music is so refreshing, this album is enentertaining from start to end and full of great ideas, but i dont think he suit too much in the rage genre
Putting your mother on the cover and calling the First song "hoe phase" is not it.
"BBW" and "cheetah print" night have made my ears bleeds.
This album is like a bowl of white rice with no flawor, it wouldn't be this bad if it wasnt that every now and then you find a piece of hot dogshit in your rice, well those are the cringe ass corny lyrics.
There a bunch of decent to good tracks like the intro, but thats just thanks to the beats on them.
He is not mj.
Wasted the pretty good production on a tracklist without any real idea, just some random rage tracks with a bunch of ass lyrics that randomly came to his mind when he was in studio.
Better Ye album since donda, i actually disliked only one track but also a bunch of them are not more thank just decent, some track sounds unfinished and the mixing Isn't on point, even if the production is very good and album remain entertaining for the entire length.
Some beats remind me of Ye older projects (yeezus for the First part of the project and also a CD or LR types of beats on "punch drunk", "whatever work" and "i can't wait") and overall he ... read more
Very chill and short project, the production from The Alchemist doesn't disappoint, but in some of the tracks the sound doesn't stand far from other project he produced.
The rapping performances are greats and i think it's a very strong drumless record, but the main problem is that it doesn't feel much fresh, however it doesn't get boring and every track is consistently good.
A project that differentiates from others of Denzel catalog due of the new sounds that he is trying, he never disappoint on the rapping performances but some of the features have pretty weak verses.
The production is very good as always and i liked every beat on this project.
There are some forgettable and meaningless tracks with bad writing and poor concept but there are also very good and catchy tracks with a very powerful and aggressive tone like the first 3 songs (that are the best 3 in my ... read more
Madlibs beats are phenomenals and Freddie flows on them sliding like butter, his delivery hit you like a truck everytime.
A lot of fun tracks with very high replay value and absolutely 0 misses.
Poor ideas and very bad writing, he tryed to make a fun album but it just sound cringe, its a shame because he can really be an amazing artist like he showed with other projects
Unique experience and concept, intense tracks that leave you speachless but with a pair of ok tracks and pretty shit lyrics in some moments
The variety, the caos and the creativity on this record make it so fun to listen, you are never going expect what is going to happen next on these tracks.
Some of JID best tracks but also some pretty weak ones, interesting beat switches and unexpected moments that made the lauening very unique.
One of The Alchemist best works, smooth flows and very easy listens.
Kanye creativity at his best, some lows but also very high highs, feel like being in Kanye brain.
