NIN-esque piano loop, crispy boom bap drums, yet another amazing chorus, subdued Morph-y meta rap verses, and even a diss on one of their worst songs, Saturday???! This may be the “weakest” single yet, but it is not by much. This is another banger to add to the collection and only furthers my enthusiasm for what’s to come.
Well done once again, Jyler Toseph and Dosh Jun.

I've been wondering if I was the only one thinking the piano sounds similar to NIN, so I'm glad to see I'm not. The piano and machinery noises at the beginning of Overcompensate also strongly remind me of NIN, which I find interesting. I wonder if Tyler was inspired by them at all.
