Yeat - ADL
20

Dangerous Summer was one of my favourite releases from last year, and I understand wanting to switch up styles but, this was just boring.

Slayyyter - WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA
95

Brat for girls who do crystal meth.
This shit fucking SLAPS

Peaches - No Lube So Rude
20

My libido levels are not up to snuff for this record

By Storm - My Ghosts Go Ghost
90

The album doesn't over stay its welcome and in that time packs a melancholic gut punch.
Kinda like when you watch a movie and just stare at the credits when it's over.
RIP Groggs

Backxwash - Only Dust Remains
45

Powerful lyrics and great production, however, I am not a fan of Backxwash's voice/delivery.
Don't think she's for me.

Ken Carson - More Chaos
10

A Great Chaos was a surprise hit for me so I was excited for this project.
This is insanely tedious with no redeeming qualities. Nothing stood out for me.
There we're some cool ideas production wise, but Ken does nothing with it.

Elliott Smith - Either/Or
100

Never had a record jump in my top all of time list faster.
Hauntingly beautiful.

Oklou - choke enough
65

Good start for her debut - Very lowkey and soft instrumentals.
Didn't completely wow me but, held my interest.

The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow
45

Almost an hour and 30 minutes of Abel was a fucking task.
Was excited for this as Dawn FM and After Hours we're great but nothing stood out for me.
Sure there are some highlights (last two tracks in particular), but he adds nothing to this sound he's played out within the past two albums.

Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
45

Strong 4 and a half for me.
Some cool ideas, but tracks felt unfinished.
Really surprised how much I enjoyed Plastic Body, but that was really the only song I can see myself going back to
I see the comparisons to Veteran, and I agree there is some influence, but Skeletrix is in another league in terms of experimentation.

Also side note -
This idea from fans of this record - Oh they don't get it - is such a cop out.
Experimental music isn't always about "getting it".

LAZER DIM 700 - KEEPIN IT CLOUDY
65

His singles for me have always stood out but can't really say the same for the full projects.
Really cool beat selections here and his flow is nice but gets repetitive for sure.
Adlib game strong tho FAWWWK

Kendrick Lamar - GNX
45

This is not for me.
GKMC and TPAB are 10/10's and I understand that's not what he was going for here, but I genuinely don't understand what y'all are listening to.
Apart from a few tracks (Heart Pt. 6, Wacced), the album blended in what seemed to be 12 remixes of a single Mustard beat.
I have never wanted to shut off a Kendrick project mid album, until this one.
Really confused with the 85 (current rating at the time of writing) on this one.
Looking forward to his Superbowl ... read more

Lil Uzi Vert - Eternal Atake 2

My goat is washed.

Slint - Spiderland

MFW Don steps outside

Travis Scott - DAYS BEFORE RODEO [Reissue]
85

This came out the day I was suppose to fly out somewhere.
I was afraid of flying so I was prescribed Ativan
I took the pill and listened to "Drugs You Should Try It" and I felt so cool....

Great mixtape

Willie Nelson - Phases and Stages
100

One of the greatest country records of all time that I feel doesn't get enough love

Zach Bryan - The Great American Bar Scene
