Drake is still at this point borrowing heavy from people like Wayne with his delivery on some lines, and the flows are not as interesting compared to what he evolved into later on, but man the way he comes across with confidence across the tape is impressive considering he was really still establishing himself.

Drake wears his influences proudly on Room for Improvement, and delivers a classic sounding but still rough around the edges mixtape. Moments of greatness can be found, but most of this is Drake finding his way. Come Winter is his first elite song in his catalogue, and, like most of his future classic tracks, features a beat switch.
