We could've played with the wonky aspects a little more, and added more unique drums to create something interesting, but instead we got something that feels like a B-side from 'eternal sunshine' and little to no artistic evolution at all honestly. The lyrics have nothing to say and feel more like purple prose than deep.
An absolutely atrocious song. Maybe not as bad as everyone else claims it is, but jfc, it feels like everything after "Gnarly" has just been a repeat of the same formula (and the worst part is that the latter actually made it sound somewhat interesting). The interpolation adds nothing btw, the vocals are so grating and simply lifeless, and even if I rarely pay attention to lyrics in K-Pop, wtf are these lyrics? Seems like another variant of "Pinky Up" lmfao. So so bad.
Okay, so in comparison to "Rock Music", this actually felt like a properly fletched out song with a purpose to critique cancel culture and comment on fame overall. Instead of being just a satiric attempt to create "rock music", it feels like it has a more concrete message and aesthetic. But idk, I just am not really gagging. It feels like it's missing something. Maybe it'll grow on me in the future, but that's my current thoughts.
