hayley williams just gets it. so much vulnerability in this album and incredible songwriting.
some of the songs were a little repetitive lyrically for me, but the lyrics are so good and the variety of sounds really makes it an album to come back to over and over.

bedroom pop goes to the dance floor!
her atmospheric vibe translates well to some dancey bass and drums on some tracks. i loved some of the slower vulnerable tracks as well although there are some tracks that feel quite repetitive. songs to play with the windows down and some songs to cry to. thank you, arlo
faves: Jetta, 2SIDED, What If I Say It?
dancey and contemplative without being too busy, this album was done really well - the production and consistency are clean and fun. some songs were reminiscent of her old hit albums which i really appreciated. i’m excited to keep playing some of these bangers throughout the rest of the year
faves: really real, dopamine, talk to me
i appreciate her gritty vocals and angsty lyrics that blend with the fun indie-pop synths. love how layered the production feels
faves: Fire 2, Dance with Me, Trouble
instrumentation - most notably the drums is what really stands out to me here, but unfortunately i wanted more! more vocals! more sound! more drums! the vocals feel so muted but i enjoyed the introspective lyrics
faves: Ready, Steady, Go, Season 2 Weight Loss
