Electropop is dominating this year!!!

Beyond a few singles here and there and the catchiness of (the controversial) slut pop, I wasn’t paying too much attention to Petras and more so just appreciated her as a cultural icon. But she really delivered a solid album that sounds liberated and just a lot more fun. It’s a bit rough around the edges which is kind of new for her, but it really works for her. Electronic dance ambient is how I would describe this. Go on a walk, take a bike ride and listen to this album. It gets a bit abrasive at times with the sounds but that’s A.G. Cook for ya. As a whole, this score is really cohesive and flows really well. While the middle part of the score gets a bit more existential and low energy, it succeeds in being emotional. Im just living for the grittiness and grunginess of this album. It’s like rough around the edges but still pop. Depending on my mood, it’s pretty much no skips.
