Hot and nostalgia
This is what I will relate to my summer 2023, feels so hot in temperature and nostalgic in its themes, a lot of reminiscing and was perfect for when I was back in hk. This will always have a special place in my heart.
Perfection from rise to fall
From the name, to the message, to the flow and emotional turmoil it tells a complete and utterly beautiful story of the queer experience. Unfiltered and direly needed in this era of music, so unapologetic and imperfectly perfect in the craft.
Doechii is a visionary
She is knows exactly who she needs to be and it shows in the portrayal in this album, confident and dominant. Beautiful stuff, she is so addictive!

this album perfectly encapsulates everything that is quintessentially olivia rodrigo, the distinct story telling with an emotional front, heading towards a punk edge with unregulated disdain and misunderstood hatred

her voice is one of the reasons i love her so much in this
it’s vulnerable and raw and young and perfectly encapsulates the young experience of minor
it has the same effect as memento by lkh, the way both grasp onto memories and keeps them in an ep like a time capsule
it’s really special and this is a fabulous debut ep
