It's such an experimental album that it alienated a lot of listeners which, to me, is part of its charm. The somewhat raw sound on some tracks only makes it more compelling. It's not a perfect album, but it resonates with me deeply. "Changes" in particular hits me in a special way. Listening to Rakim there almost feels like hearing someone close to me speak
If I was scared that Don’t Be Dumb would be disappointing, I’m not anymore.
The sonority is incredible and the music video is insane.
This track took me straight back to 2018, when Rocky dropped Sundress.
Fortunately, the album is coming after seven fucking years of waiting, I can't hold the anticipation anymore
