a pretty enjoyable album, loved the jazz elements in this one, and certain songs really stuck out to me like Red Flags and Every Color In Blue. In fact this album gave me heavy "Awaken, My Love!" vibes. However, for whatever reason a lot of these songs didn't really hit as hard for me as I expected, so I can't really give it over an 80. still enjoyed it tho :)

a funky ass album with longer than average songs that I thoroughly enjoyed. the bass went absolutely crazy on this record, and so did the piano. loved it

yet another unbelievably beautiful album from Maja. I am in awe of how elegant and gorgeous these songs are. her voice is ethereal and soft and these songs are stripped back to utter perfection. I couldn't help but find myself beaming while listening to this album. I simply cannot wait for her to put out more music, she is so incredibly talented.

a genuinely beautiful and amazing album. I loved the use of voice in the first few songs to emulate saxophone and trumpet solos, and each vocalist that appears throughout the tracks adds so much to each song. I think I still ever so slightly prefer kinfolk 1, but this album is nothing short of delightful.
