The start of the album reminds me of madvillany by MF DOOM. and Madlib, featuring old, slightly distorted voiceovers from tv shows and etc. this feeling remains after the first beat drop, giving this villainous, underground feeling that would set the tune for the remainder of the album. I think Cookin Soul did a good job on this project (pun intended). It feels like a good compilation of very unique features from the hip hop world playing on very unique samples from different genres, making a great overall experience. I really liked this album. Opening in a really guitar heavy tone, but ending on a cute elegant note. The album is mostly Yoni sharing his various experiences, between meeting someone on the street, a conversation with the psychologist, and mostly, internal conflicts he faces with himself, thus the name of the album.
