Thematically this is a perfect album. It’s especially perfect for those colder months of late fall and winter or when you get your heart broken. The production is top tier and in my opinion there are no skips. “Romeo” and “Rip” are absolute perfection while tracks 1-3 are also certified bangers. This is a huge step forward for Lean from Unknown Death on both the vocal front as well as production. The album starts off slow with “Yoshi City” being the only track that really stands out in the first half. But Lean seems to wake up in the second half and go on a really solid run, all the songs on the second half are great with “Don’t Go”, “Monster”, and “Sandman” being absolute perfection.
This was my first time listening all the way through and wow, I’m impressed. I already knew that “Diamonds” and “Yr so Beautiful” were absolute perfection, but I didn’t realize the rest of the album was so great as well. The production is seriously unreal. Thaiboy is so underrated.
