I will not lie, I absolutely hated this when it first dropped, thought it sounded like shit and was never planning to listen to it again but it kept playing on my mind then one evening I snapped and listened to the whole thing and loved it.
I realize today that before this album I was ''the hoes'' in question.
truly a masterpiece thank you danny and peggy
I am obsessed with this album. I've listened to this LP so many times where the ''OMG THIS IS YACHTY???'' effect has worn off, which I was worried would ruin the fun factor I and probably everyone got of the first listen and would kill the reply value of the album but I was completely wrong, if anything the album gets better with every listen.

Listening to this Midwest emo space rock hybrid generally feels like you're being transported into another world and going into this blind I was absolutely blown away by the amazing vocals, atmospheric synths and drums, truly an amazing experience.
fav 3 tracks: nine clouds, former living thing, redshift blues.
least fav track NONE
This is hotel ugly first LP and I have to say it is a vibe, but it does fall short with a lot of pretty forgettable tracks.
His vocals to me are definitely the carrying force of the last few tracks on the album with some pretty redundant beats but overall isn't too bad for his first project and with a runtime of only 25 mins id say its worth at least checking out.
top 3 tracks: yes, yes it is, the mannequin song and hotel members unite
least fav track: action figures fighting
Hands down my favorite Abel album. Even after a whole year there is not one day that goes by that I don't listen to a least one song from this amazing project.
top 3 tracks: here we go again, less than zero and out of time.
least fav track: dont break my heart
Kill bill for me has always been a very concisely good artist and with FULLMETAL KAIJU there is no exception, if anything I feel this album is on the same level as Romana which I believe he still hasn't topped until this project.
He manages to blend a mix of jazz rap, hiphop and this amazing theme flowing through the whole album.
AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS AMAZING ALBUM COVER.
Very enjoyable 30 minutes, cant wait to see what he puts out next.
top 3 songs: polybius peel ALL DUNGEONS NO ... read more
