Pretty decent rock record here, some highlights of course include Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, and Sweet Child O' Mine. But I think there is more to this album besides it's main hit tracks, while yes, some of the other songs are quite boring. I actually really enjoyed My Michelle and You're Crazy through Rocket Queen.
Dad rock at it's decentist? that ain't a word.
By this time of the 80s, this style of over produced, over excessive, drug filled hard rock was becoming incredibly boring and stale, and it really shows here. The best song on here is of course, Pour Some Sugar On Me, but even that song is at best ok, the rest is the bane of my existence.
Meh.
This a clear step down from their debut only 2 years prior. For me, it lacks the umph and hooks that Is This It had, like takes examples such as "Last Night, she said, oh baby I feel so down" or "I said just take it or leave it" or "Raised in Carolina", such catchy hooks and choruses that just get stuck in your mind. Now I've got to say, Reptilla is a phenomenal song, that's really the only main highlight I have off this thing.

This might be the greatest rap album of all time.
RZA, GZA, Inspectah Dec, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon, Masta Killa, all legends in their own right come together to form a master-class group of rappers called the Wu-Tang Clan.
Released in 1993, this album is just banger after banger, you've got Shame on a N***a, Da Mystery of Chessboxin' (my personal favorite), or course the world famous C.R.E.A.M, Method Man, and Protect Ya Neck.
The rapping here is just so good ... read more
Amazing.
I mean what else do I have to say, this album have freaking Starman, Five Years, Lady Stardust, etc etc.
Bowie is truly a one of a kind musician and it's albums like these that prove it. This is just banger after banger and the only really meh song was Star in my opinion, and that was it! Great songs, great flow too, and just an overall really fun listen!
I don't what y'all are on giving this thing an average of 92, holy.
This being ranked 11 is an absolute crime.
This album really just seems like any other soul during this time and it doesn't really bring anything new to the table at all. None of these songs are really all that good and lack the punch are atmosphere that makes a great song. At best some of these are OK, like What's Going On or Right On. But man, this has aged POORLY, like, really bad.
Incredibly overrated ... read more
Ok, guys don't kill me, but I like The Crunge!
I mean, what else do we expect from the greatest rock band of all time? This is just another fantastic record among many in their discography. I mean, these guys never miss! (Well, except for their last two albums but anyway). All of the songs here are pretty good/amazing. While not nearly as iconic as their first four albums, this album still brings track after track like its the easiest thing in the world.
While the first two songs are ... read more
Such an ethereal album.
I feel as though I'm being transported through space and time itself while listening to this thing
What a generational run this band was on during the mid-70s, we have DSOTM, then this masterpiece, THEN Animals, and to finish it off with The Wall. Wow.
I personally am not to big of a fan of really really long songs, but for some reason, these 5 songs captured me. Oh wait, I know the reason, because they are fucking AMAZING! Shine On You Crazy Diamond (1-5) builds ... read more
I, yes I will love Aladdin Sane!
This album is so good man, well, of course, it's a David Bowie album, but I digress. Everyone and their mother knows the famous Bowie Lightning Bolt from this cover which has become the overall symbol for David Bowie but not many people know this album or the music on it (maybe besides from the Jean genie).
Bowie wrote this during/coming off of his 1972 US Ziggy Stardust Tour and throughout the lyrics here you can see him talk about his experiences on the ... read more

500TH ALBUM LETS GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
I swear, this album become more real every day
I've been wanting to listen to this album for awhile now and what a better time then to do it for my 500th album?
This is considered to be the Gorillaz best album, although I believe that Demon Days is slightly better, this one was really great!
I really like the concept for this album being a future which is ruled by technology and people turn away from nature and towards i guess plastics lol. Hence the ... read more
HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLL YEAAAAAAAHHHHHH
Ya know, I usually don't like metal at all but this freaking rocks.
Crazy, soul-crushing riffs that make you want to go and commit arson, love it!
What a great album!
I had never heard of James Blake before this, and I guess I'm gunna have to check out his other albums because this is pretty damn good! Such great instrumentation and vocals here. The songs are at face value super simple, but they pack such an emotional punch that makes them beautiful. And can I even go without mentioning the amazing strings all throughout this album?
I really love ambient music, and this album excels in all the things that make that genre so ... read more
