It often feels like there is a lack of a relationship between the listener and the dancefloor with some of the more dancefloor-inspired "front page" electronic releases (like this). I almost cried listening to this at work today…
Whilst not reaching the insane highs of his last two exceptional LPs, Skee still conjures up some low-key brilliance with his fourth album "Resort". I expect this will please fans who thought that "Pool" (my favourite album of the decade so far) had too much going on and was a less focused outing than "Compro".
Anyone serious about electronic music will not be surprised to hear some masterful work on display ... read more
