This might be a crazy take but Don is one of the most consistent out rn. Can always count on him to deliver and even though this didn’t work as well as hard stone for me (probably because I don’t love the reverb rnb that much) its still really great and also the best thing to come out of Cactus Jack since Hardstone. Jesus that label is a shithole.
Weirdest album I've heard in years. If someone told me this was a 0/10, I would respect the take, but fourtnatly this worked shockingly well for me.
The last time A$AP dropped an album I was finishing 4th grade. As of writing this I’m abut 4 months away from graduating high school. Wouldn’t have checked this out if it wasn’t X8 but this surprised me with how much it worked for me. Really touching mix of folk and ambient that just eats at you the entire album. Left this one feeling pretty sad so but also very comforted so I could really see this growing on me.

Please if you see this review and haven’t heard this album yet listen to Fairchild it is one of the most impressive songs I’ve heard in a long time
Been waiting on this one since they played it in concert like a year ago and it did not disappoint
Rest in peace to the greatest ever this album and his career have meant so much to so many people. With such a limited catalog, it can not be said enough how influential this man and his music were, and with only three albums he has done more for music than 99% of artists. Fly high.
