Bullet for my Valentine's first album, a classic melodic metalcore album that I have revisited multiple times. While it can be a bit corny sometimes, everything about it from instrumentation to vocal timbre is done beautifully, all the songs mesh together while still being able to stand on their own. One of my favorite metalcore albums.

Every song on this album is a banger, though some of it may not be as complex and technical as previous Trivium projects, the catchiness of hte songs, the heavy hitting riffs, and the powerful vocals are able to make up for it. Probably my favorite Trivium album!

While there are some misses, KANA-BOON's debut LP Doppel is one that contains a diverse roster of songs, from emotional tear jerkers to fun bops. It is everything you'd want to find in a J-Rock album and a very enjoyable experience for their first album. Hihgly recommend.

ZUTOMAYO brings their signature funk-rock energyc to this album, with the singles being spectacular as always. Of course, the deep cuts are really good as well, ranging from emotional ballads to some more jazzy songs. Despite this, a lot of the deep cuts can be quite forgettable, especially if you don't plan on relistening and some songs feel like they just go by without much happening. All in all, it is a solid japanese funk rock album.
