Fitting that this is a pt. 2 because I feel the exact same way about this as I do about pt. 1.
Favorites: “Mascara” / “What’s Always Been” / “Do What You Gotta Do”
For as big of a Jack White fan as I claim to be, I can’t believe I hadn’t heard this record start to finish. He brings his typical Jack White flair to a new sound and emotional feel and I absolutely love what he’s doing here.
Favorites: “A Madman From Manhattan” / “A Tree On Fire From Within” / “A Tip From Me To You”
PERFECT. ALBUM. NO. SKIPS.
Favorites: "Dance Yrself Clean" / "I Can Change" (but really all of them are so good)
Perfectly fine album that plays it super safe. Long and repetitive and lacks any sense of an album flow, but that’s not always necessary. Nothing wrong with finding your lane and sticking to it!
Favorites: “Going North” / “We Go Way Back”
