The most influential album on me to date.
I just love the variety... I'm devoted to anybody who can implement so much with such high quality while doing it.
Billie and Finneas are brilliant with connecting introspective nature of lyrics with experimental, bold music choices.
This isn't a cohesive story about something in particular, just a diary of a young adult, who maybe doesn't have one to fill a whole album yet? And that's ok.
Especially when I'm satisfied with content of this album ... read more
She really delivered with lyrics. I really do appreciate it. There is a story, and besides the oddly not fitting single (yes, and?) it's a cohesive body of work.
But sonically for the first time I think it lacks a bit of... character?
The vision is there, but it's safe. Too safe for my taste. Even intriguing fragments feel out of place in a context of this not really ground-breaking album.
There are also few production issues for me, sometimes it's a shallow bass, sometimes weird vocal's ... read more
Not the most equally entartaining body of work, but doja is just a person worth listening to. Shes a full package, and i think this album depicts that very well.
Rare example of an album when generally speaking (besides watermelon sugar) I like singles more that the rest of the album. Second half of the album is kinda forgettable, but I would gladly go to the Netherlands hop on a bike and blast it on my headphones with no skipping, (AGAIN). The sentiment is strong (I can't say it about all of his work)
That's how you create your brand.
Such a great decision, to pursue that territory, aesthetically, musically. It works. It works very well. I'm not the biggest fun of sign of the times, but it's not only about singles. There is fun, there is sadness, good job Mr styles
I don't know ab this one...
The songs are good, there is variety to it, and that's one of the most important factors for me, but it got old so quickly. I've never had an album like that. After half a year I don't want to listen to it at all.
And I can't fully understand why is that.
I really enjoyed little freak, cinema, daydreamin, satellite but I don't listen to it anymore.
So I can't decide how I'd like to rate it, because initially I thought it's a great cohesive album, but now... It's not ... read more
For sure I can't say I listen to it as a whole, but there are few songs that I cherish so much. hometown glory which she wrote as a 16yo, cold shoulder, chasing pavements, make you feel my love...
And even though maybe it didn't work everytime I feel like she took some risks, and I appreciate it, bc of this it's not just a bunch of piano/guitar ballads
Masterclass
Cozy, church girl, plastic, virgos groove, heated
And when you get the chance to experience IT live... It's becominc just absurdly monumental and impressive
Album with the best arianas singles
Also r.e.m, everytime, better off
Rest more or less forgettable, but it still creates a cohesive album
