First time listening to a full Interpol album and it's one i wanted to listen to for a long time. I gotta say that i love it ! What immediatly struck me was their sound on this project, it feels so large (don't know if what i just said mean something but i understand myself lol). Love the guitar melodies and the guitar tone. The vocals reminds me so much of Joy Division (in a good way of course). Sometimes the lyrics were a bit blurry for me but overrall they're complex and profound when i understood them. The basslines are probably my favourite part of the album along with the drums which i found to be amazing. Definitely an album that deserves more recognition. A very underrated album and definitely an incredible listening session. Will definitely come back to it
