Just when I thought they couldn't get better! For a concept album, this sure does do a great job of mimicking real world experiences and struggles. The addition of hauntingly beautiful vocals from Ella help elevate the overall dystopian topics covered throughout the album whilst alluring the audience into fully submerging themselves into the album.
It has a good amount of catchiness and listenability and I very likely will revisit songs from it (maybe not since I found out about the controversy) but the overall album is not their best work. It is still enjoyable nevertheless.
A great mix of vocals from various artists yet they still incredibly well together and the album feels cohesive as a result. I don’t think there’s many songs on the album that I won’t come back to at a later date. The collection of songs nearer to the end of the album really highlight the powerful message that the whole album was made for in the first place.
