Vince Staples - Cry Baby
86

After dropping one of his most personal albums in 'Dark Times' , It was only natural that Vince would tackle the system next.
His rapping and songwriting are next level on this project as you'd expect and actually really fit the instrumentals quite well. The choruses also really surprised me in a good way too.
When it comes to the production, Vince did keep it simple, but his producers and himself did execute the post-punk aesthetic pretty well. If you're already a fan of ... read more

bleood - PROTAGONIST
57

First 4 songs were lowkey buns, but after that it gets a bit better ig.

JPEGMAFIA - EXPERIMENTAL RAP
69

Even though this album is far from bad, it often just feels like an unfinished collection of demos rather than a fully fleshed-out project.

Drake - ICEMAN
72

I liked this tbh, idk why he released the other two projects but aside from the cringy Kendrick subs, this album is solid imo. Drake isn't reinventing the wheel but at least he's doing what he does best.

Drake - HABIBTI
50

A couple alright songs but mostly just generic bs

Drake - MAID OF HONOUR
35

This is the first Drake album ever that dosen't have a single good song

Kendrick Lamar - Section.80
83

There's something about young Kendrick that just feels so special. He sounds so hungry and ambitious but also so down-to-earth and relatable at the same time. Unfortunately, the quality of his music at this point was still not on par with what we know he can do at his best, but this album is still an amazing listen regardless.

Action Bronson - PLANET FROG
86

Action Bronson has always been charismatic, but 'PLANET FROG' feels like a step above the usual, imo. This album not only has a bunch of quality verses that make you laugh hella hard (like usual for him), but I feel like the production here elevates the album's overall quality a lot, and when you put it all together add a bunch of "YOU ARE NOW ENTERING PLANET FROG"'s, you get one of the coziest and most carefree rap albums of the decade so far. The features also ... read more

Lil Tjay - They Just Ain't You
45

It's always sad when an artist keeps reusing the same ideas instead of trying to evolve. This album just feels like a washed out version of his previous stuff.

PlaqueBoyMax - Crash Dummy
50

I mean it's not BAD... but it isn't good either. Aside from 'BREAK THE BANK', which I kinda liked, all the other songs were either forgettable or straight-up trash.

North West - N0rth4evr
67

Solid debut ngl, she's the definition of a child prodigy.

Qire Snow - For Memory
78

Aaron Hampshire knows ball, this is solid af.

vax - Blue Dawn
78

The second half is hard af but the first one is kind of hit or miss.

Blu & Exile - Time Heals Everything
85

This might me the best and most consistent rapper and producer duo ever! There aren't any other two guys that have this many amazing albums together without a miss.

ezcodylee - STUNT 4 LIFE
83

This is very high energy I love it.

RAYE - THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.
83

This album is really entertaining.

MIKE - POMPEII // UTILITY
64

I have to admit that I do like this "abstract trap" sound, but the production is so stale that the album just ends up dragging after a while. I'd love to see SOME songs like these in both of their future projects, but an 1 hour album of just this style qith little variation between songs is not it imo.

XBLESSEDUS - All 4 The Garnet
68

flow a bit awkward but the prod is really nice. got lots of potential fs.

Slayyyter - WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA
NR

ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Kanye West - BULLY
65

I'm glad he dropped a solid album but I don't see myself listening to this again. Not because it's bad, but Ye's music doesn't hit the same anymore, like I just can't separate the art from the artist anymore when it comes to this guy.
