This album is certainly not the best album ever, it's pretty rough around the edges in the middle area with some songs that have kinda plain or basic styles and singing work, but the second half of this album shines so brightly that it genuinely just makes up for the middle so so much by having some of Tristams most meaningful and emotional work to date, alongside some genuinely fantastic singing and a diverse set of styles. The opener track is also gorgeous, and sets the stage for this album beautifully. While I do wish this album had a little more variety, and probably could have cut out a lot of the middle tracks (especially Burn and 1992), this is ultimately Tristams most personal and meaningful set of songs yet, and I love that. I hope you come back to make more music Tristam ❤️
