While it could perhaps be said that I'm being a bit harsh on this album with my rating, I genuinely just strongly dislike this album. It's not like.. all bad, there are a few good songs I guess, but MAN this is just so rough around the edges in all aspects. None of the songs here show the Psytrance prowess Infected Mushroom is known for, and for their 25th anniversary album they decide to go with... weird experimental vocal based pop songs almost? Covers? Forgettable psytrance? It's not until the last 3 songs on this album honestly where it starts to pick up, and as a whole this entire album frustrates me. Even the best song on it, Cookie From Space, is still on the weaker side of their Bliss collabs, and the vocal features on this album (particularly Hope 6) drag it down sooo bad. Extremely large disappointment for a "25th Anniversary" album, and while it's not all entirely bad, this album as a whole leaves an extremely sour taste in my mouth that is not really helped by any of the songs beyond A Cookie From Space.
