BRAT

I really genuinely just do not see what is so supposedly fun or great about this album to warrant the high scores its getting, because this simply is just irritating to listen to from start to finish, minus a couple fairly ok songs. Unlike CRASH, where there was at least one or two good songs, nothing here really sticks out to me, with the best songs arguably just being 8s for me at best. There's an overuse of autotune, weird production styles and sounds, and a generally just annoying sound to it. I mean, I know I'm obviously not the target audience so maybe I don't get it??? Either way, I think this is INSANELY overrated, and frankly just solidifies that I'm not a Charli xcx fan in the slightest.

I will say though, it does improve by the second half, and there's a lot less frustrating stuff there, which keeps this from being something I truly hate. Some of the latter half songs are fairly nice. It doesn't really redeem it enough though.
