Finally, FINALLY, after 4 albums, this album truly feels like Lindsey has found her footing and her sound, and LOCKED IN with it, not even needing much vocal performances to shine. The first half of this album is genuinely spectacular, with vocal performances taking a large backseat to bring in an amazing mix of EDM styles on songs like Evil Twin, and some beautiful pure violin playing with Serenity Found, but this album fixes the big issue I had with Artemis by just being filled with lots of variety! The second half takes more of a poppy sound with songs like Inner Gold and Survive (the latter of which is just BOUND to be a pop hit if it somehow gets on the radio, Lindsey isn't big enough these days for that to happen I think though), but also falls back to the instrumental sound later on. If I had to give it any problems, I'd say it *definitely* does take a downward turn in quality in the second half (though not by a dramatic amount) and I found myself a little less interested near the end. Still, it stays consistent enough for it to not be a huge deal.
The Lindsey fan in me thats been stirring since I was a pre-teen can finally rest easy, she's made peak. EASILY her best album, even if still doesn't quite reach the heights of songs like Shatter Me for me.
