Absolutely love the singles, but there's just so much filler

I really had high expectations after what is a pretty strong first 15 minutes of this record. The pretty heavy electronic production on Disease is not something i expected from Gaga, but it hits just the same and Perfect Celebrity is a definite banger. But unfortunately the album just almost immediately loses all steam after the first 4 songs. An interesting art pop album with some cool sounds for sure. It falters under the weight of its own ambition at times, feeling a little over done. It could also cut a few songs around the middle of the album without losing anything major. All that said i was thoroughly interested for the entire album.

Absolutely loved the storytelling of this album. Such a fun concept album that narratively really comes together nicely. I found the production pretty bland, so it's not an album that I'm very likely to come back to, but it was a great one-time listen.
