HELLBOY

I think the production is ok on this but I do not like a lot of the vocals at all. The moany singing just doesn't do it for me. On "OMFG" he literally just changes keys while the instrumental doesn't and it sounds pretty stupid. While I really didn't like the first three tracks, "the song they played (when i crashed into the wall)" was pretty nice. The lyrics aren't too painfully emo here and the vocals feel impassioned enough to not feel like they're croaking by. Tracy's feature is cool too. But then again on "fucked up" the vocals are just painful to sit through. "cobain" was nice too although I did prefer Tracy's feature significantly. "gucci mane" does neither right. The production is weak as hell, same with the vocals. Also that producer tag is hilariously bad lmfao. Again with "interlude" he's just not in key like wtf. "worlds away" is probably my favourite song, I actually quite enjoyed it and it was a nice break from everything else. But what the fuck is "red drop shawty"...how is this a real song?? who is KirbLaGoop and why does he sound absolutely insufferable?? What???? Beat isn't helping either with the 808 that's severely out of key. This Charlie Shuffler guy cannot produce at all...yikes. This has actually gotta be one of the worst songs I've ever heard. Everything else I feel similarly about. Painfully bad vocals with beats varying in quality.

But yea. If this is your thing, sure. I found the lows (most of the mixtape) to be genuinely agonizing to sit through, and while the highs were good, there were very few for any sort of redemption. Most of the lyrics and singing are trash. Also I don't passionately hate this project, but I'm very surprised to see it rated this high on this website.
