Lil Peep sounds like he should be the frontman for a mid 2000's emo band, not a rapper. I respect him for trying to create something that nobody has really done before, but he makes the "emotional rapper" aesthetic sound so cheesy.

It's very rough and I never quite understood the appeal. Talent is there, somewhere under the rubble this tape produced, but it only peaks through sparingly.

My opinion is really split on this mixtape. On one hand it is definately not as ingenious as fans think it is, on the other it also is not as bad as some critics say it is. Peep's sound is quite an original one and he was kind of a pioneer in terms of emo-rap but this project is partly just too dull to be taken seriously by me.

BEST: hellboy, OMFG, fucked up, interlude, girls, we think too much
WORST: red drop shawty, move on, be strong

The first batch of music I heard by Lil Peep and honestly I didn’t like it at first but after a few listens he grew on me and so did the tape

Best Tracks: Hellboy, OMFG, Cobain, Girls
