He made music that was, at times, intentionally uncomfortable, and part of Hellboy’s appeal is in its brazen ugliness. He said things like, “Coke in her nose, and my dick all in her butt.” And yet, he could sing these words tenderly.
I can’t deny that everything here from the suicidal themes and treatment of women to his voice screams rock, and lifeless rock at that.

More misses than hits on this mixtape here, where Lil Peep sounds off key and off beat. Instead of feeling sad hearing his pain, you feel sad about just how bad he sounds. “we think too much” and “worlds away” are probably the only songs worth searching out if you’re interested in this.
i think i’ve overplayed this album so much it’s engraved in my head.. like 3 songs are forgettable but the others are such bangers this guy never misses
