yes, the singles are not good, but the rest of this album is kinda very good?

listened to this a tonne in 2005 when i was a kid. thought i remembered it affectionately because, well, i was a kid. revisiting this 15 years later and, holy shit, this thing still bangs and the ballads still work on me.

i respect a lot of these songs, but for reasons not entirely clear to me i find this album entirely forgettable the moment i turn it off
