Thanks for 50 followers! I might try to do more quick reviews in the future, I'll see how I am feeling when the time comes.
Also this thing sucks. It's funny for like 2 songs, then your brain proceeds to leak out of your ears out of boredom.
Happy Uncmas.
It's crazy to hear a 60 year old Slick Rick still sounding solid. Nas bodies this of course, but Slick Rick keeps up with his signature smooth voice. Even 40 years since he came onto the scene, Slick Rick still has one of the most unique and captivating voices in Hip Hop.
The peakest peak that ever fucking peaked. The production is even more lush and captivating that the previous album, and McKinley's rapping is just as strong. Basically every song is just as good as the last, and it never lets you get comfortable before switching up the sound. Love all the features too, they add a good deal of variety. Definitely an AOTY contender for me.
Honestly, not that bad? Even though the autotune was all over the fucking place, it made the album fun in a way. Especially with the clearly emotional lyrics.
+20 for the cover, of course, what an incredible piece of art.
