I want to have sex with the guitar sound
This is only their debut, and it's THIS GOOD? Each song shows an already tight grasp on songwriting, structure, tone, soundscape and dynamics. The riffs can be a bit same-y, but who cares when they are this kick-ass and the guitar tone sounds SO GOOD and is so instantly recognizable. Though the slower songs are the weakest part of the album, they are still good, and most importantly, they still fits into the tracklist of the album. They also exercise the band's use of diverse tones, soundscapes, and overall feeling, something that will only get better as their catalog continues. The fact that this is considered one of their weaker albums of the 90's is SHOCKING and EXCITING. Will come back to this one.
