I am finding myself more and more convinced that Benson Boone might be the most mid artist in the mainstream music world today.
I keep finding myself coming back to this record, even now almost 8 years after its release. One of the strongest opening runs as well from Full Circle into Daylily.
BCNR move over, we have a new masterpiece to listen to.
There’s so much going on that I have no idea how to digest this. I like it, but I don’t think this is that up my alley! And that’s okay!
I was worried about the hole that Isaac Wood left, and what that would do in terms of the sound of BCNR moving forward. Turns out I shouldn't of worried at all. The band goes down a different path on this record while still maintaining that same vibe and that drew me in the first time. Incredible stuff.
Felt more like I was listening to a Skrillex live set than a record, but I still enjoyed it. I do wish some tracks had more time to breathe and flesh themselves out though.
It’s not as bad as people say, though it is very boring at times! How Does It Feel to be Forgotten is a classic.
i am not afraid to admit that this record is actually enjoyable.
don't ask why this is being reviewed at 4:33am on a Monday. i'm going through some shit.
there are some clear highlights to this thing, but the majority of it is just generic Carti.
Yeah this just lacks the oomph her previous tracks had. Just felt like it wandered just a little into the generic lane! Maybe it'll grow on me.
i am now convinced. this will be my record of the year. i can smell it already.
Went in with little knowledge of Sam other than the guest appearance on the Noah Kahan record. Came out with one of my new favorite artists. Wow.
