Exploitopia

I'm a big THD fan. City Dressed in Dynamite is a solid top 15 album for me and they're consistently good past that but this album doesn't do much for me. Godforbid and Takamoto sounds just as good as ever but the direction in sound is not it. Jeremy Page wanted to go this electro-punk industrial, whatever the fuck, but it just doesn't work for THD. The best songs here are the ones that stray away from that sound (I.E. Crooked Heart, Gravity of the Situation) but some others like Tonight and A Million Bots are alright as well. Oh well. Hopefully the next release will be more up to their usual quality.
