Nothing but some damn good garage and blues, can't wait for the new album
Not as gritty and dirty as their first few and is really their shift to that pop rock sound (after the help of attack and release) and this one's credited as their "best album" but I don't see it. It's not strong enough to beat the likes of The Big Come Up, Thickfreakness, Rubber Factory, or Magic Potion
Thickfreakness is the best word to describe this whole album. Wish they replicated this sound again. Love Magic Potion though.
I dig this one. Gritty bluesy garage rock feeling in these. The whole reason why pre-Brothers are their best albums, when they started flying too close to the sun and got all "poppy" I stopped listening. Let's Rock is a nice "return to form" despite its filler (and I hate Lo/Hi).
This album is immaculate.
Unfortunately nothing new lyrically from ryan, sonically different is both good and bad for this album, some of these beats don't work, maybe it's actually him on the beats that make some of these work. I do not Warlord, its cringey and he and every other artist have made that song a million times over. Here's my numerical review of all songs
