Kendrick lamar made a story album, He did it very well, It could've been way higher rated if it wasnt for the occasional earfuck he does in the album especially in "GOD."

The story still is good and is integrated good in the music just musically wise this isnt his best work

It sounds like i dont like this album but i truly really do its just not as good as the 2 before it

You cant call your album "experimental rap" to excuse it being absolutely shit

I dont know what you expected, Some people expected kendrick to live up to his best albums, Something almost no one can do, Right after the beef it was clear he wasnt gonna make an album thats deep or has a story, He wanted to make a west-coast banger

Great **long** album by j cole where he shows he still has it, Some of his post-beef projects/songs could've made you think hes actually fell off but he still has the lyricism which almost no one can match and hes still got the flow that makes you fly at times, He still needs to find out a way to make hits but hes going in the right direction, I really hope this isnt his last album cause i enjoyed this listen very much.
