The Warm Up

Wow. Impressive. Two mixtape that are good? Amazing. J. Cole has not missed and has improved a lot. Not only this man is writing better, his beat selection is actually goated. This mixtape is actually a great achievement and a breath of fresh air when we are talking about mixtapes around this time, since everyone was making 1 hour mixtapes that are boring overall with boring beats and lyrics. This one displays the lyrical ability and flows of J. Cole, in great/legendary beats.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Dead Presidents II: One of the best J. Cole songs I've heard ever. Wow. The way he slide on this track, on this beat. Amazing performance, there are no complaints. Really impressive by a young J. Cole.
- Last Call: Lyrically great. Lowkey the talk lowkey takes it back a little bit, but overall an amazing track. Of course, he talks about how he got signed, using the Last Call beat, Kanye can't miss and J. Cole so far has done amazing on those beats.

(I have to add that if you don't see much highlights, well basically is a well and consistent mixtape, these are the peaking moment :3 )

FAV TRACKS: Dead Presidents II, Last Call, I Get Up, Til' Infinity

Overall a great mixtape by a great artist that continues to be consistent and upgrading, lyrically and musically.
