Damn. This was 1969. A lot of revolutionary albums came out this year. THis being one of the greatest soul albums ever.

Probably one of the greatest albums ever. It's so weird, chaotic and timeless. Despite how wild it is, it's still very groove oriented

Really set the standard for soul music as we know it today. What a sound of The timeless lyrics combined with a chill-out orchestral funk sound.

I love the direction. Syd's whimsical psychedelia.
Overall, It lacks a cohesive feel.

Would be near flawless without 'Aumgn and Peking O'.

Only 4 standout tracks in my opinion

No doubt an influential album. Some killer tracks. Great production. However, it does feel too dated with the lounge style music accompaniment. RIP Brian.

I feel like they did better stuff on some of 'Smile', 'Sunflower' and 'Surf's Up'.

A great three run of songs, then comes 'San Tropez', it's a let down, but listenable. 'Seamus' is just ridiculous.
Echoes is glorious.

Excellent. Never heard anything else like it. A great melancholic ambient-rock-pop. Listen for when it's cold for double effect.
