For the second album of Sigur Rós a powerful and at the same time atmospheric sound is taken part, the orchestra touches give a rich flavor to the album, in simple words: a great album to let yourself go.
This album could easily be in my top 20, the sound is solid, the album is too consistent and every song is beautiful.
The jazz sound of this album is its strongest point, I love that combination of jazz with black metal, I mean it sounds great, and it doesn't feel heavy in the sense of tiredness.
It was incredible to listen to it in its entirety, I mean... IT'S A 7-HOUR RECORD, however it's an album that despite its length I really enjoyed it, there were times when I got goosebumps and I felt chills. from head to toe, that an album makes me feel this excites me, because I never see it coming.
I like this album, when I heard "Nevermind" I simply believed that all Nirvana albums had a similar sound, I'm not saying that Nevermind is a bad album but its formula seems so profitable to me...;
