Floss

floss was always the project that intrigued me back when i listened to it a couple years ago, mostly because of the INSANE FIRST 3 TRACK RUN WITH OH SHIT!!!, BAD BOYS 3, and ALL THIS MONEY like oh my god all three of those tracks are absolutely FLAWLESS and with it being back to back to back, i think that was where the mixtape peaked for me back when i listened to this and all the other songs kind of just went one ear and out the other (except for LOOK MAMA I DID IT, that track is too fantastic to be looked over for me back then). ever since then, i've been wanting to relisten to this as i matured, mostly because maybe the tracks other than the first three could also be on the same level of quality, and IT WAS!!! this mixtape is just filled with so much energy and the production is absolutely so fun and bonkers like AGHHH i can't get enough of it. i couldn't stop headbopping with 90% of the tracks such as OH SHIT!!! or S ON YA CHEST. and going back to when after the first three tracks ran past, the album went from one ear and out the other; i am glad to say that almost of all these tracks stuck with me with how catchy these songs are. i think the production and the delivery is what makes this mixtape work, it just feels like they're not even trying and having fun with it, and it works! a track that felt a little off and felt out of place for me is ALL QUIET ON THE WEST SIDE, it just doesn't fit with the energetic flow the rest of the album has and was honestly forgettable for me. overall, yeah im happy that i was able to love floss after so long. what an amazing mixtape
