Kanye debuts his career with an amazing LP. The stories in the story of an album are told so well with lots of twists and turns. The production which has me audibly ascending is perfected and tweaked to the finest detail. A great way to kick off Kanye’s career (outside of “The New Workout Plan”).

Kanye is back with his 5th studio album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”. Regardless of what I say in this review, it doesn’t take away from what this album does in terms of its impact on culture and just the place this holds in people’s hearts. After a 5 year hiatus, Kendrick Lamar hits us with another modern classic. The production is so unorthodox, especially highlighted in the drums throughout. Kendrick is still at the bar he’s set for himself when it comes to lyrical technicality. The experimentation on the vocals that didn’t work for “DAMN.” pan out beautifully here. Kendrick delivers another masterclass making for an amazing experience.

Kendrick takes a bit of a nose dive with “DAMN.”. The album displays Kendrick rapping just as good as ever but some of these questionable vocal deliveries can’t help but lower this album’s score. The story is great and the closer brings it all together so perfectly. Amazing album at the end of the day.

I have no words. Greatest storytelling album ever. To say this is a masterpiece is a disservice to this beautifully put together project. Kendrick proves why he’s the goat time and time again. “good kid. m.A.A.d city” goes to show that even as his second best album he can create a top 15 album ever.
