Loved this on my first listen, kind of disliked it on second, and now after my fifth listen I think this is good enough. It's focused, has a ton of energy and it's short enough to not be a draining listen. The production is quite nice, but then again it's SKOTSKR, the man who can't make a bad beat. However, I have my problems with this. BLCKK's delivery is energetic, but it doesn't really change in any of the 14 songs. The beats sound a little too much alike, which kind of melts some of the songs together. Some tracks also have very basic flows, and not that many memorable parts. The writing is average, and there aren't any lines that stuck to my mind. So overall, I think this album is a good add on to BLCKK's discography, but I can't say I love it. Every good aspect brings up another bad aspect. Energetic delivery, but stays the same. Good production, but too similar beats. Some really nice parts, but not enough of them. But hey, maybe this album will grow on me. I certainly hope it does.
