Korn - Issues

Korn's fourth album is a significant improvement on their previous two but I would say is still not as good as their debut. Don't get me wrong, I still really like this album, it's just not as memorable as their first.
There is pretty much nothing bad about this album. Every song is enjoyable, interesting, memorable and kept me invested throughout the album. Even my least favourite songs on here were ones that I liked. There is seriously nothing bad about this album. However, it lacks the stand outs that I think made their self titled album better. Although there's no bad songs, there's no singular song that I would revisit. I may come back to the album a few times, but I don't see myself picking a single song to put in a playlist.
To be honest, the only thing that I disliked about this album (and this really is a nitpick) is that the final four minutes of Dirty (the final track) is just white noise. It always frustrates me when an artist decides to end their album off with something so annoying. Other than that, this is just a great album.

Favourite Tracks: Falling Away From Me; Beg For Me; No Way; Trash; Wake Up

Least Favourite Tracks: Wish You Could Be Me; Am I Going Crazy; 4U

How do you feel about Make Me Bad? It’s the only song besides Falling Away From Me I’ve heard on this record

@ImplicitDoom Good track, and nowadays I'd call it one of the better ones on the album. Honestly not really sure why I didn't put it on my favourites here. It's definitely one of the more memorable songs of the album.

Yeah, I definitely like the weird hip hop drum intro thingy and how it leads into the song. The only album I’ve heard by Korn is Self Titled, but honestly excited to get into their other records.

@ImplicitDoom Honestly, I'd say that only their '90s albums are really worth listening to in their entirety. Everything else it's better to stick with the singles as most of the deeper cuts are complete throwaways and derivative of their first four records. Other than that, I hope you enjoy what else you hear from them.

Thanks! I understand what you mean, but I’m really not the type to skip records in a discography. I just hope it doesn’t get horribly bad lol
