Personally I didn’t find this album very engaging, and I don’t feel very drawn to it — which was disappointing — but I do enjoy putting it on as background music (which is what I think he was aiming for anyway)

This has no business sounding so good.

I don’t understand how an album can sound virtually the same yet fail to carry the soul of the original. It just didn’t resonate with me, which is a damn shame because I was looking forward to it so, so much.
