Decent beat, it’s pretty smooth and groovy. Ian’s rapping is still an issue however, as I believe his tone of voice is rlly hard to put a finger on and it does not fit the prod. His flows are getting better and the lyrics aren’t terrible, but his tone of voice is what doesn’t do it for me. This, however, is a decent attempt and he’s going towards the right direction.

As Daniel is one of my close friends, he showed me the really early demo of this song a long while back and it’s so great to see it come to full fruition. This song is so pretty. Daniel displays his best vocals on this song and really goes off with the belting and falsetto over this smooth R&B beat. It’s a really nice love song and it’s Daniels best work so far in my opinion. Really excited to see more Daniel R&B tracks.

This is Daniel’s best song and performance to date. Short, sweet and straight to the point with a super catchy beat and great concise flows. Daniel sounds a lot more confident here than his previous work and his verse is really memorable, with a much stronger presence than before. I’ve had 0 experience with Mick Jenkins prior to this album’s release. However, this is definitely one of my fav projects of the year so far. This album has really great soulful and jazzy production that stay pretty consistent throughout the album. Along with this, Mick’s energy is unmatched in his rhyming and delivery.
