The rapper continues to mine heavy existential themes against a newly vaporous, kaleidoscopic palette. Itβs among his darkest work, but also his most piercing and inventive.

If you are coming to this album with anything other than a MAVI album, I think you might be a little disappointed but you don't have to be. I'm not saying his work isn't versatile but there is definitely a certain style that MAVI sticks to. What I am really happy to see on this album is what I would expect and will keep me coming back to it throughout the year, is his heartwarming evolution as an artist. real shit tho this album really resonated with me
This is the second MAVI album that I have heard, I loved the first one, and with this one I feel the same, this is amazing, what an album.
MAVI is a super underrated artist, and he has been proving that he is an incredible artist for a long time.
If I had to choose one song it would undoubtedly be drunk prayer, such an incredible song, I loved the production, and not only of this song, but of the entire album.

yeah ok fuck me i relistened to this start to finish at 2am while i was geeked and i dont think ive shed more tears to an album before. drunk prayer and the giver back to back literally was gut wrenching
