This was a great start for MAVI, being only 16 when he made this. This is above the level of many teenagers obviously and it's a project where it looks like he has feelings. Best tracks are fossil and enter. The worst tracks are tribute and comethroughwithit. It's a solid project to start off.
LIGHT 6
A compelling start for MAVI, one that very clearly outlined his style and laid out the formula he'd improve upon thereafter. The tape is lo-fi, not as a stylistic choice but because of the equipment used to record it, murky, and occasionally poorly mixed, yes, but it is also raw, honest, and some of his most personable content to date— which is saying something for the young sentimental MC.
