Joey Valence & Brae - HYPERYOUTH
95

Most energetic and dancey projects I have heard in a long time. better version of dttg if I’m being honest. Live Right is one of the best song of the year.

Freddie Gibbs - Alfredo 2
88

just solid ass music.

Steve Lacy - Nice Shoes
82

Very interesting sound for Steve, I like the EDM like influence, I don’t really have much to say it’s a totally adequate tune, I’d probably listen to it again.

Rich Brian - WHERE IS MY HEAD?
91

after 6 years Brian comes back with his strongest project yet. Usually a comeback of this magnitude is hard to pull off but this album is fantastic coming from someone who loved his last album too. Timezones might be one of the best storytelling rap songs i’ve heard in a long fucking time maybe the best i’ve heard in the whole decade. Not a single bad song what a fucking album, Rich Brian is officially back!!!

Yeat - DANGEROUS SUMMER
77

Very solid release from yeat, some of the best songs i’ve ever heard him make here. Yeat continues to be the most creative mainstream trap artists in the modern music hemisphere. The FKA Twigs songs and [ADL IS COMING] are phenomenal.

Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside
95

The raw emotions that this album creates is insane. This is probably the most viscerally depressing and melancholic albums I’ve ever listened to and it was fantastic, the first 5 songs on the album are perfect and fit this theme incredibly. The album takes a slight drop during the second half but either way songs like DNA and Wool are amazing. Grief genuinely might be earls best ever song. this album is beautiful and amazing.

JID - God Does Like Ugly
77

I’m lowkey dissapointed that I didn’t enjoy this as much as other people did, The Forever Story is one of my favorite albums of all time and so my expectations where sky high and unfortunately I don’t believe they were met. Some songs on here like the intro and Community are without a shadow of a doubt some of his strongest songs ever, but a good 3-4 songs off the albums for me were underwhelming and a couple were straight up terrible. What We On and On Mcafee I am fully ... read more

Panchiko - D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L
91

Genuinely ever track is so incredible expect Stabilizers For Big Boys, I’ve never heard a song with such a disgustingly awful kick that’s so poorly mixed, it just fucking blares out and takes all of your attention when it’s in the mix. It’s mixed sooooo horribly like why is it so loud? I assume if I wasn’t so aggravated by this sound I would probably love this song but I’ve hated it from the fucking start. Every other song is nearly perfect though. Laputa is ... read more

Ground-Zero - Consume Red
95

A song with an idea like this can only be done once but even then, it’s executed so perfectly also. The wails of the horn become familiar and almost comforting after a while which is a stark contrast to all off the other ambient noises that are introduced later on. Incredible off the wall berserk shit. I never understood noise music until listening to this, Merzbow was my only prior exposure to that style of music and personally I think they’re awful. Still I love this song, super ... read more

Car Seat Headrest - How To Leave Town
97

Some of the best instrumentation I’ve ever heard. Such a strong tracklist but this shit is definitely not an EP. Either way it is an incredible and beautiful listen the whole way through. The only complaint I can think of is sometimes the vocals sound a little muffled but it isn’t enough to where it tanks to score that much. Incredible shit.

Wyatt James - My Fucked Up Mind

Couple garage band stock sample project with one of the worst rappers of all time who thinks they are early 2010’s Tyler, The Creator. One thing I can say is I recommend this to anyone who wants to laugh cause it is insanely funny. THE GRASS IS NEVER GREEN AUUUUUGGGGH!!!!

Paris Texas - They Left Me with a Gun
92

Definitely the better of the 2 EP’s, not a single song I felt negative about. Genuinely just banger after banger really really good shit.

Paris Texas - They Left Me with the Sword
78

Very concise and hard hitting EP with a couple of dud’s like kind of tank the overall project. But overall super solid work and Tantrum and El Camino are fire asf.

DEMONDICE - The Red, White and Black
2

Genuinely worst shit I’ve ever heard, I am very contempt with never hearing a white women rap about anime and how she’s not black and shit ever again. Utter dogshit. We would all crack Mori Calliope tho, ON ALL OUR SOULS! 1+ point fo that. Also one guy sounds like Vince Staples kinda who is fire so +1 again.

Green Day - Father of All…

If you asked ChatGPT to generate a rock album this is what it’s gonna make, I’ve never seen an album have less identity. Shit is genuinely the cure to insomnia, so fucking awful and boring.

King Combs - NEVER STOP
15

How many dogshit human beings can be in one project. Apparently quite a lot. The fact Kanye let his daughter be in a project with a song called “DIDDY FREE” shows that he should be allowed to have the power to see his kids ever. Awful digusting album with some god awful production for a cherry on top.

Hentai Dude - OWO What's This?
1

Nothing redeemable about it this beside maybe some of the beats being decent, probably worst lyrics of all time. Old anime fans simply love to admit to being pedophiles for some reason. Also white guy saying N word so fire.

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper [Visual Album]
100

The definitive way to listen to this album. So many incredible beautiful shots and that ending was so fucking powerful. 10/10 no question.

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper
99

The only reason this isn’t an 100 is because the definitive way to listen to this is with the movie in the background. It’s so stunning and incredible, the last 3 minutes of the album paired with the movie might be one of the best things I have ever heard musically in my life.

79

Very creative album, with some pretty high highs, but also some pretty low lows. The five song run of Thoguhts @ Work to Quills are all amazing. But also Pussy Galore, Something In The Way Of Thing’s and Thristy are pretty damn bad. But overall, songs like Water and The Seed (2.0) are too good to overlook this project.
