second-best smashing pumpkins album but it does have a couple skips. “disarm” and “today” are two of the best songs ever made, simply perfect, both of them. an album perfect to listen to two hours before sunset.
best smashing pumpkins album imo, criminally underrated. no better description for this album than this wuthering heights quote “You said I killed you — haunt me, then! […] Be with me always — take any form — drive me mad! only do not leave me in this abyss, where I cannot find you!”. one of my all-time favorites, have it tattooed on my wrist only because i can’t have it tattooed on my soul. or maybe it already is.
